Vignan University

Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research is a Deemed university in the Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is in the rural area of Vadlamudi, in the southeast of Guntur City and the northeast of Tenali City.
Vignan Institute of Technology and Science is the brainchild of Dr. Lavu Rathaiah, Chairman, Vignan Group of Institutions, was founded in 1999 with four branches of Engineering.
Established in 2009, Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology, and Research (VFSTR) University, (Vignan University) is a Deemed to be University. It is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), and has been accredited with grade ‘A’ by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
This University comprises six departments namely Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Management Studies, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology. It also offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in the domain of Technology, Computer Science, Engineering and Business Administration.
